Looking for salseros y salseras
Posted March 11th, 2013 - 8:11 am by from Lausanne, Switzerland (Permalink)
Hi,

I am a beginner at salsa but would love to practice a bit.
Considering my level its not the best to go directly alone in parties (sivouple or Barrios latino).

Could I join a group of salseros or some people interested to go to salsa party with me?

Thank you :)

Same here Yannick!
I just used to go at some parties (long time ago, so I have forgotten even the few steps that I knew) and I was wondering if there are salsa events / parties in Budapest. We might be able to arrange something with few other beginners as well :)

Cheers,
Dimitra

Hi,

Happy to see that I am not alone in this situation :)

I found some salsa lesson in Bp: it starts today Tuesday 12 marz. 2013 at 19h.
Location: Budapest. VI. Bajza street 44. Caribe Dance Center
They wrote to me that lessons are in Spanish and Hungarian, little English also.
But all students can speek english…
Salsa La Cubana Academy of Cuban Dances
www.salsalacubana.com

Unfortuately I think its for complete beginner but anyway I will check it tonight in case they have beginner/intermediate too. I will let you know.

Otherwise to fit with the aim of this post we can plan to go at Barrio Latino cafe ( https://www.facebook.com/BarrioLatinoBudapest ) Would be perfect for practicing and they have salsa workshop + party for example on friday?

"Márc. 15. PÉNTEK 21-03 SALSA CON Party SABOR (Dj Tombao) +Workshop by Salsa Fuerte (22-22.30) - 500 Ft+500 Ft italkupon (benne workshop)."

See you!

Hi Ewelina!
Yesterday we were at Barrio Latino..hoping to learn few basic steps of salsa cause there was a workshop session as well but all in hungarian and not for beginners as me. Still I enjoyed it : I haven't been at Bodeguita. If you choose to go there tonight let me know..I might join you :)
