Hey guys,
I would like to know if there are salsa clubs or open air events in Budapest where I can dance cubin style?

There are cubs and events, and one good way to start is with this open-air event on Sunday, where you will make many salsa friends and find out about other places to visit:

Let me know if you, or others, want to meet up there to have some immediate friends and dancers at the start.

I would like to meet new people on Sunday but unfortunatelly I will be in Budapest only from 1.05 till 3.05. Thanks for link in FB but there is hungarian language page and I speak english and german.

Sorry for the link being Hungarian, but I would have to use Google translator myself to convert to English (I don't yet speak Hungarian) and I wouldn't want to make an announcement for an event that is based on a bad translation.

If you use Google chrome, you can have auto-translation of web pages, and also Google Translator can do full web page translations or cut-n-paste text.

There are a lot of small salsa clubs here in the city, I hope someone can fill you in on those. A club like La Bodeguita del Medio is mixed latin music and sometimes a bit over-the-top with their Cuban show, and less salsa-focused than the smaller clubs nearby.

For everyone that is here this Sunday, the event basics:

At Erzsébet Tér (near Deak Ferrenc):
16:00 to 19:45 (or so)
outdoor salsa in the square, watch facebook event for changes in case of weather (but I think we have perfect weather all weekend)

People in that facebook event, could probably answer questions about other places to visit as well.
