Hello Folks!

I am cross-posting here since I also would like to touch base with the real CSHK community :D

It's been a while since I've been in Hong Kong! I was born here, moved when I was 4 to Indonesia, moved back when I was 10, moved away again when I was 13...

I really miss the food here! miss the culture, the way of life. So now I've got a chance to reacquaint myself. Just arrived this past Saturday, and was hosted by Andrew, who took me to a couple of really delicious restaurants and introduced me to some of his local and foreign friends. This time, I am hoping to make an extended visit by couchsurfing and staying in hostels (currently I am staying in one in Mongkok). It has been a bit difficult finding a couch here. I am definitely looking for folks that may have a bit of time to spend with me, not just a place to crash.

Would love to meet new friends, both local and foreign residents, as well as travelers to find out more about this fascinatingly dense yet small mass of land.

As you may have guessed, I love food! Also, I enjoy visiting schools (if there are some high school and/or uni students that have some free time to show me around
I would really appreciate it). Having grown up mostly in USA, I am really curious about the schooling systems in other parts of the world. I love the outdoors and also like playing various types of sports. Enjoy various types of art. Really want to know how HongKongers think and go about their daily life. Basically, I'm up for almost anything that's legal :)

Please send me a private message with your phone number if any of this resounds with you! I can speak Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for reading this.
