Can host up to 4 people

I've sent out a couple offers to people but haven't heard back so I'm going to put my offer out to anyone looking. I can offer a place to sleep for up to 4. Two people would have to be comfortable sharing sleeper sofa. The other two would have a room with a bed and pull out trundle bed.

I live in North Bethesda, Maryland. The metro is accessible by bus or by car (White Flint). From the metro station, it's approximately 25 - 30 minutes to DC. I'll be going to the rally of course.

First come first serve. Send me a request if you need a place to stay. Yes, I'm not right in the city. But I'm not far and may be a good choice if you haven't found accommodations yet.

If the offer is still available, I would like to take you up on that offer.

Hi Cara,

Perhaps you saw my post the other day-I'm trying to find a place to stay that is "green" and non-toxic. Does your place fit the bill?

Thank-you!
Cindy from Vermont

Cindy,

I'm not sure which is why I didn't respond to you before. I would think probably not because my father has been working on re-doing the kitchen and has been using a lot of polyurethane on the cabinets. It won't be used during the weekend of the rally. Nobody smokes in the house and we don't really use anything with fragrance. We probably have some conventional cleaning products in the house but I'm not going to use them that weekend. We also have one cat (I don't know if you're allergic or not).

If that description sounds ok to you, let me know. Or let me know if you need more information. I'm hesitant to say that our house is "safe" in that regard because it's hard for me to know exactly what is ok/what isn't.

Jamar, I'm sorry, I should have specified this in my post. Since I'm the only one in the house that weekend, I really have a strong preference for either couples or women. I would consider hosting single men but I really want them to have references on couchsurfing.

Hi Cara,
Thanks for your thoughtful reply. The recent polyurethane application/offgassing would make me quite ill.

Sorry that won't work!

warm regards,
Cindy

Hi Cara,
If you still have space, my boyfriend and I are still looking for a place to crash Saturday night. We will be volunteering at the rally so there is orientation that night. Let me know!
Thanks,
Lynette
