Looking for original incentives or ideas for a report

Hello to you all,

I'm a journalist and an active member of the CS community! I've mostly been to CS meetings in Paris, Geneva, Los Angeles. I've met great people there :)
Usually, I post notes more about partying or meeting or whatever... but this time I need your head for a "brain storming" ;-)
Here is the thing: I am French and my company wants me to make a TV report in Vancouver, 100 days before the Winter Games kick off: how the city prepares itself, what people do (if they do anything), if they prepare something, if they will leave the city because of the tourists, if they are dreading or looking forward to have the Olympic Games "at home", if some of them set up new businesses because of the tourists and the big opportunity of being seen worldwide, etc.
Do you know anyone who would be in one of those case (or maybe another!)? Or maybe you, you can just give me your feeling regarding this event, before I go to Vancouver. Because you live there and I don't, so you know much better than I do.
Thank you very much and hope to welcome you in Los Angeles if you're nearby! ^^

Bonjour Marie,

If you were to ask 10 different Vancouverites how they're feeling about the upcoming Olympics, I think you'd get 13 different answers!

I know people who are:
- Looking forward to attending assorted events
- Looking forward to watching it on TV
- Looking forward to seeing all the visitors in town
- Dreading the traffic problems and security restrictions
- Leaving the city during the games to get away from it all

As for me, I was accepted as a volunteer and will be working as a photographer's assistant. So I'm pretty pumped about helping professional photographers from around the world, plus getting immersed in all the technology they use in their work.
