Room or apartment wanted
Posted September 12th, 2012 - 2:56 pm by from Somerville, United States (Permalink)
Hello! I'm having a ridiculously hard time finding a place to live (I'm up to seven failed agreements at this point - three unscrupulous agents, two shady landlords and two separate roommates flaking out at the last minute), and although this is a long shot, I'm hoping one of you fine folks can help out. I just wrapped up a year and a half of backpacking, and I'm back in Northampton trying to find housing. I went to Hampshire College for illustration, then lived in Noho for about three years after that before going on my big trip; I have loads of friends in the area, I play for the roller derby men's team based in Florence, and I used to work at Topatoco in Easthampton (if you like webcomics, we'll probably get along!)

I'm hoping to find a room (or a roommate for an apartment) with a parking spot available, within reasonable walking distance of downtown Northampton, with a person or people who are friendly, laid-back and queer-friendly. Other than that I don't really have any requirements.

Let's be friends! And housemates. Let's especially be housemates.

Hey Jeff! I'm in a similar boat, just got back to the area after some travels and am having a touch time finding a place.

I'm a long term undergrad student studying philosophy but taking yet another year off to stick around in this area. I have a lot of varied interests but right now I'm getting into biology and music. I've been in and out the area for the past few years so have a network of people here myself, right now working on expanding my horizons a little more again.

Long story short would be interesting in being your housemate - maybe we can message and/or meet up to discuss details and see if it's a good fit?

Ciao
