Hi all, I've just moved to NYC and looking for somewhere to live. I have a short term place, but need to find somewhere more permanent starting mid Feb (by 3rd March latest). In theory i am here long term (2-3years), so looking for somewhere for at least 6months, probably up to a year. Brooklyn is my plan (and the rough Park Slope - Prospect Heights-ish area would be ideal, but i'm fairly flexible), but i could be tempted by an amazing deal somewhere in Mahattan below about 80th st.
So if anybody has a long term sublet available, a room they are leaving, a room mate you are looking for to fill a room, or just looking to join up with somebody to sign a lease, let me know. Budget is variable. Cheap is good, but i'd prefer to pay a little more for somewhere nice rather than get the cheapest possible room.
I'm a non smoking, slightly eccentric but well travelled 33year old Welshman, a professional (ish) cartographer who has been handed the task of remapping NYC, In it's entirety, from Scratch, before November. And I'm also allergic to cats, so must be cat free.
My fiance and I, along with our 2 very adorable dogs, are looking to move to the Park Slope area too! We won't be ready to move by March 3rd, but could be ready by March 15th. What do you think?
I'm looking to sublet for 4 months starting Feb 1 in Greenpoint. Message me if you're interested.
