Happy Holidays!

I was wondering if anyone is familiar with Cambodia town or from that area of Long Beach? I would love to get to know the neighborhood better! Restaurants, temples, businesses, etc. A foodie tour? Or walk around town? Cheers and Happy New Year! Jenn

The area is very spread out. As for restaurants I would recommend Crystal. Pretty authentic, you mostly only see Cambodians there.

Happy New Year Jennifer! I've only been here in LB for a year so I'm not an expert but 2 restaurants I've liked:

I love trying new places so let me know if you'd like to meet up for a meal....maybe we can try Kat's suggestion.

How long are you in town for? If you're on FB, feel free to join our group there too:

According to my Cambodian co-worker who is a true mover and a shaker like Tom, Terri's Kitchen on Cherry and Anaheim streets is the best Cambodian spot. It does not look fancy inside or outside but the food is authentic, amazing and inexpensive. After going there with her, being a foodie, and living in Long Beach 2+ years I can confidently recommend this place. Like I said it's not fancy, it doesn't even have a website, on yelp that even miss-categorized it as Chinese food. If you do go my buddy says all you have to do is say that Sy and Wesley sent you. Really play up that you know Sy (even though you don't) and you will get the royal treatment and maybe even a discount.
