Offering Slightly inconvenient couches (and parking)
Posted October 23rd, 2007 - 1:35 am by from New York, United States (Permalink)
Hi everyone. I know this weekend may see a lot of travelers, and I'm very excited to meet everyone and do some thorough partying, but I know you'll also need places to sleep, shower, eat, etc.

I'm offering my apartment to those that need places. Please note that I have received emails and those who contact me first will get priority. Also, and this is a big ALSO, there is a giant asterix I have to mention: I don't live in NYC. I live in Stamford, CT (please read my profile) and the trip to Downtown is roughly an hour by public transport, including the walk to the train station (if you don't get lost).

I will be attending all of the events, and most likely driving down, so I will have space for couchsurfers to ride in luxury. Its a bit shorter with a car, around 45 minutes (the way I drive).

Please let me know if you need space. I also have access to a parking garage, which our northern travelers can take advantage of if they'd like to park safely and free outside the city.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in costume and chaos!!

Yo, you guys are all foolish not to take George up on his offer! He's awesome, his apartment is awesome, his couch is awesome, and it's close enough to NYC to still have fun! Come on!

I generally don't plan that far out in advance, but that's msotly my lack of trying to do so.

I don't know what's planned for New Year's, but I will definitly have the couches available if you want to surf. Might throw a party, who knows?

Send me an email with a little bit about yourself and when you're coming to NY, since I see you're farily new to CS.

Hope to hear from you!
