Cheap, fun, unplanned and adventurous travel partner wanted for NZ.. Dec/Jan!
Posted November 26th, 2012 - 10:58 pm by from Churchill, Australia (Permalink)
Ill be arriving in New Zealand on the 27th of November, and wouldn't mind finding a travel partner for January who has similar backpacking interests:
- random adventures!
- totally unplanned travel for ultimate flexibility and allowance for random adventures...
- relocating rental motorhomes/cars for free road trips
- national parks/beaches/hiking anything outdoors related!
- hostels/couch surfing/help-xing
- random backpacker jobs like fruit picking, etc..
- traveling as cheap as possible
- seeing as much of New Zealand as possible
- and blogging about it...
Ill be located in Wellington during December working (if everything goes to plan), then looking to head to the very south of the south island, collect a rental vehicle to relocate back to Auckland and then just drive and see as much as I can. If this sounds like your kinda thang, let me know! Ive been traveling Canada, USA and Peru for the last 7 months solo, so some company of likeminded souls for the last part of my overseas trip would be awesome!

Hi Kobie!
These are all things that I absolutely love. I have a blog started already, I've been here since early November and I want to explore as much as possible as well! (in classic cheap backpacker style)
This is my NZ number : 02108342844 so drop me a text or a CS message. I'm working on a farm just south of Te Awamutu in the North Island for the next two weeks and then I'm coming back to Auckland for a bit before heading south.
We should meet up or at least try to! I should be in Wellington by mid-December and would love to head south if you're up for it.
Hope to hear from you soon!

GUYS!!! For some reason I have only just found all these replies to my add now!! If you are all still in the market for a travel partner let me know! Im planning on heading to the south island around the 3rd/4th of Jan, and will be exploring till my flight home from Christchurch on the 12th. Its going to be a quick trip, so if it doesn't suit but there is still the opportunity to meet up then I would love to!

My NZ number is 0223429874. Im currently in Wellington, then heading to Gisborne on the 26th to volunteer at Rhythm and Vines until the 2nd. If anyone is still in the market for a travel partner for the south island let me know!! Im still hoping to get a transfer car vehicle to rent, and would love someone to join! Im thinking of flying into christchurch, picking one up and driving the west coast till I get to Queenstown, stay there a few days, then take another car to Christchurch or hitchhike... but thats a very very rough plan =)

Cheers,
Kobie

Hey Kobie,

I'm also hoping to relocate a campervan or rental vehichle from around Queenstown or Christchurch around the end of December. When do you finish work in December? Maybe we can do it together?
