Lets do it world! 2010 In your country??
Let`s Do It World!!
The idea is simple. All the active people who care about their country and the shared environment we live in - Let's put our efforts together, to create a new wave of civic activism. Country by country.
We invite active people in all the countries to come together and team up to clean up their country of illegal waste. To ignite a broad nationwide co-operation and bring in new technologies. And do it all together. Supporting and sharing and acting together.
We have developed an innovative garbage mapping software, based on Google Earth program. Right now we are gathering a team of programmers to develop it further to a shared platform tool, for all the participants to use. Please contact us for further information on that subject.
It is time to be inspired and inspire others, create a new level of co-operation for the whole society and the world.
WHO WE ARE
In the morning of May 3rd 2008, more than 50 000 estonians came out of their homes to clean their country. Together in 5 hours they collected more than 10 000 tons of garbage from the roadsides and forests. Whole country and many visitors from all over the world were watching closely as the biggest civic initiative born from a bold dream, became a reality.
The Idea spread rapidly and the closest who were touched, were two other beautiful baltic countries – Latvia and Lithuania. On 3rd of May thousands of Lithuanians were working to collect garbage around the biggest cities, on 13th of september 2008 more than 40 000 Latvians came out to clean their country of illegal garbage. This year, 2009, the movement has gained force – on 18th of April 2009 altogether 150 000 people were cleaning their country in Latvia and Lithuania.
But this is just the beginning. The world is changing and people around the world feel it. We have been contacted by many activists all over the world, who dream of cleaning their own countries the same way. From this an idea was born – what if we do it all together?! Let’s Do It! World wants to bring all the active people in all the countries together. If we join our forces we can make a difference, not just in a country, in the world!

Groups we are in contact with
Clean Bengaluru in one day!
Currently we are looking for inspired people all over the world, people who are not afraid of challenges, love their country and want to make it a better place.
We are also looking for organizations who share our goals and want to join this wonderful adventure.
Last year we developed a garbage mapping software, based on google earth – to create the ugliest map ever. Now we plan to build upon it a shared platform for all the participating countries and teams to use.
And most importantly - we can all share our experience together, so that instead of repeating old mistakes, we can make together new ones.
We are glad if you were touched by what you have read here. Whether you are planning to organize a clean-up in your own country or want to participate some other way, don’t hesitate to let us know.
Every sincere participation and contribution in what ever form is valuable.
"Be the change you want to see in the world."
Let's do it Conference
Let's do it! Conference will take place on 23rd and 24th of January in Tallinn. More than 20 people from Slovenia, Portugal, Romania, Lithuania and hopefully also from Latvia, are coming to Estonia to exchange experience and work out solutions together in greater detail for their national clean-up's in 2010.
There are a lot of things to think through and do in next few months, so all of your help is needed to make it really beneficial and motivating event!
