Photographers: Where can I buy a Nikon lens in Barcelona?

My Tamron 18-270 is not working well. Ideally I'd like to buy a Nikon 18-55 below 150 euros for my Nikon D7000. Its very important I find a new lens asap. Let me know if you know of a place to buy one. The street, phone number or website would be very helpful as well. Thank you!!

Hello Kara,

You should try around Plaza Catalunya. There are several photography stores around there: Casanova and Jordi Bas are two that come into mind.

I'm almost sure you can find that lens in stock in both stores, so you should be able to go and pick it up whenever you need.

Casanova Foto is really AMAZING place (even if not the cheapest). You should visit there. They have TONS of amazing used Nikon lenses also (in really good shape and I think they comes with warranty). Your D7000 would be happy with any old AF-D lenses (older autofocus lenses), too, since it can focus with them.

Address is Ronda de la Universitat, 35 (the streert where busses stops between plaza catalunya and universitat)

They also have boutique on carred de pelai but the other is better, it's also near catalunyza, just 200 meters away. THey propably moved to the new location recently, since it's much bigger and nicer. it can NOT be seen on google street view.

best choice: ebay.es for sure. You can also try loquo.es. I dont think you can get that simple lens in big stores, as they always come in a kit, nobody buys this lens separetely because you bought a kit with it or with a 18-105 or 18-200...
And let me tell you that a d7000 is an amazing camera - i got one- for such a poor lens...Strongly recomend you to save and buy the lens your camera deserves, as it could be a sigma 17-70 f2.8, Tamron 17-50 f2.8, these are about 400E, or a stunning nikkor 17-55 f2.8 that is about 1600E...wich is a luxurious item..
An easy to find nikkor 18-55 f3.5-5.6 should be around 70E when come used...but it is a poor lens. Good luck!
