Aussie and American friends looking for a couch during Carnaval

Hello CS Members,

My friend Ian Usher and I would really appreciate an opportunity to meet some Rio locals during our visit during Carnaval but have had a bit of a tough time finding a host.

Really, we are a couple of pretty easy going guys who are neat and respectful and a bit adventurous. I first met Ian by hosting him in Colorado and helping him facilitate a couple of his goals. He has a pretty neat story and has alot of cool stories to share from around the world. He has a pretty cool website: www.100goals100weeks which explains his adventures and offers alot of inspiration.

My wife and I really enjoyed hosting Ian and we became quick friends so I decided to join him for some of his South America goals as I have always been fascinated by the beauty of Rio and other areas of South America. We both have pretty through CS profiles. My CS member name is "Colorado Triman"

We are eager to experience Carnaval events but also want to experience some trekking and possibly hang gliding while we are there and would love to get acquainted with some like-minded hosts.

Thanks in advance for your consideration and best wishes!!!

Hi Val, Ian, and co,

I'm not a Brasilian, but i've been living in brasil for a bit and traveled around a few times, and would be down to meet up and share some good times during carnaval if y'all are around. I'll be staying with two buddies in leblon, going to the sambadrome sunday the 14th in sector 5. no real plans other than that. prob dance w/ some blocos. saw ian's website and read up on a few of the adventures. sounds amazing would love to hear stories.

definitely coordinate a meet up, perhaps with the weekly rio coushsurf meetup on thurs feb 11?

pura vida,
Jessemin
