I just recently moved to Vienna. I speak German and English and have always wanted to try to learn a bit of Turkish.
If you are still looking for a tandem partner that would be fantastic for me.
I just saw your post as I was about to create a search for a Turkish/German Tandem :)
I already started learning but just with the book - it doesn't really work.
Exchanging with someone would be so much nicer!
I was in Istanbul this summer and totally fell in love with the city and the Turkish literature. Right now, I am just studying literature but as soon as possible, I want to enroll for Turkish studies. I want to keep on learning till I can. My plan is to work on bringing more Turkish books in German translation after I finished my studies.
Never teached before but I guess that I am a very good German speaker, as language/literature is my passion! And I am very into deciding for the right words and the right grammar, so maybe we can find the "teaching" way for it together.
If you two already settles, maybe I can join?
Besides, I really miss the Turkish coffee - can't prepare it myself.
Hoping to hear from you soon!
I just started to learn turkish with the book and with other tandem partners. I think its always nice to meet and to help each other to understand and study the other once language. I just saw your post and thought maybe you are still searching for more people to meet. I would love to get to know more about the turkish culture and language and can offer to talk english or german with you.
Let me know what you think :)
All the best!
