Hi Sara,

Sunderban is different than any other national park. This is probably the top forest in the world to produce most man eaters. So there is no typical safari type tours inside the forest. Have few watch towers for tourist and boat rides along the mangroves.
Govt managed tours are probably the best bet and they are not crazy expensive either. As private tour operators are not allowed to go everywhere and govt one provides one unique experience of spending the night on the boat.

You may check here booking. http://app.westbengaltourism.gov.in/WBTBooking/wbtdc_package.html

Hi Sara,

We did this Safari from the Bangladesh side last year and it was amazing. Bangladesh side Sunderban is far superior than the Indian side, as I have been to both. You can see some of our pics in the Sunderban folder. So just try to visit Bangladesh. It is v easy to get a visa. Its worth it.

Happy travels!!!
