Hi People,

I want to start a list of locations you can "rent" for a party.

Requirements:

Space for around 100 people
bring your own music/dj
space to dance
possibility to bring and sell your own drinks

Post all locations you know and maybe some info about them.

i still don't see why we should pay rent when so many locations are free.

http://www.a2bar.com/
no rent, no deposit - all free.

also talk to roxy. they have scouted many free locations.
also talk to peter. he also knows lots of free locations.

Dear all,

I have one special loaction for up to 100 people.
We can have one of the rooms at the Latin Club El Dorado on following days: monday, tuesday or sunday.

The Latin Club is located in the Johannesgasse 21, 1st district. Near to U4, U1 and U3 (it is in between all of them). Just vis à vis the Bettelstudent.

As i am teaching there - i know how everything works and organized and therfore know pretty much what is possible... We can use our own mp3 players, CDs etc,... Dance floor is good and drinks are good as well. What do we need more for a good Party - or even for a tammtisch...?

And the best: We do not have to pay any rent.

Cheers,
Georg

Hello,

I don't think there is any location which is completly "free".

Especially I don't think that places like wirr or a2bar do match with this criteria:

possibility to bring and sell your own drinks

Another Party Location I found:

http://www.1acatering.at/Preise_files/Raummiete%20-%20Veranstaltungsraum.pdf

Around 210 € ... but doesn't look like it has much of an atmosphere (and I think you can only play music in "Zimmerlautstärke" after 10 pm)

I just found that ...
it's a 180 sqm werkstatt (tinker studio)
The rent from 1 PM to 1 PM next day is 140 EUR.

It could be fun - because we could also build something there. Like a CS aircraft for the next redbull air show. ;-)

But for doing a nice christmas dinner - I would prefer melker keller.

have a nice sunday,
silvia

Hello,

yesterday a friend of mine has celebrated her Sponsionsparty in the bar/pub Kolar...
There are two party rooms in the 'Gewölbe'-basement. One room takes about 100 people and the other about 50!
You can play your own music and whole is for free (no minimal consuption).

I know about Kolar ... but please everyone replying to this thread read the Requirements in the first post...especially the "bring your own" drinks part :)

Other Partylocations are relativley easy to find :)
