G'day Marc,

A few things you may be interested in are the couchsurfing monthly meet up in Pyrmont tonight.

Also there is the Crave food festival mainly at Hyde Park, but also around the city. Good cheap food stalls at Hyde Park and generally music and performances. Not to mention booze of coffee.

And Darling Harbour begins hosting Sydney Latin Fiesta from tomorrow I think. Lost of entertainment, dancing, everything.

October is what I call the beginning of festival time in Sydney. It keeps on going in one way or another right up until March .

I don't walk so well so I am not much of a go out person. But I reckon you will meet many people at all these events.

And if you ever do have time to spare for a coffee there is a very good cafe - El Tapeo - in Redfern. I go there a fair bit.

hi, I'm visiting Sydney for a few days as of Saturday morning, would be fun to meet up with other CSers. If you are into Latin Music there is a gig on Sat evening near the university that is a Cuban band and cultural art event. I'm getting into Sydney early Sat morning, email on here if you'd like to meet up over the next few days, cheers

hi Don, I get into Sydney early Sat morning, I can't see the CS calendar for Sydney, do you have a link possibly that gives info on the meet ups? Is it only once a month they meet up, as I might have left by then. Any tips on for the next few days in Sydney would be great. cheers
Elise

I see what you mean Elise. I generally get a notice of a meeting through my profile. And they are once a month.
