A REGULAR MEETING POINT FOR CSERS!
Posted August 8th, 2008 - 9:55 am by from Budapest, Hungary (Permalink)
Hello All,

I have been browsing through the posts and haven´t found topics like this. I suppose many people are not going camping, but still they would like to meet their fellow CSers. Officially, you cannot enter the real camping area without a camping ticket; honestly, I don´t know how well it will be checked on this year.

I suggest we agree on a time and place where CSers could catch up with each other every day. I suppose that somewhere near the IWIW World Music stage would suit most of you as it is quite close to the official camping grounds. What about 4 PM every day?

Your suggestions and comments are most welcome!

Peace,

András

Hi all.
I never been in Budapest and I think this is a good time to go. My idea is to visit Budapest and I would like to meet other CSers probably for dinner.. for a beer or whenever it happens. :-)
With high probability I'll go to the festival on the 14/8 to see jamiroquai and the festival itself.

I think that a (accessible for all) meeting point will be a great idea.

See you soon

howdies András, helloes all,

the world music stage is a great idea, i would like to suggest the pub Dalmát as it will be there this year too, maybe meet the left of the benches if you are facing the bar (counter) with the stage behind you.

i do agree on 4 pm

we should maybe find out a common sign too so we can recognize each other more easily. some leaves from a tree should do or CS letters written on any part of your body also

ill try to be there on monday if i can (ill be watching the hungarian groups on main stage) but we should meet there every day so ill be able to join you on wednesday latest

see you all there
cheers

Hi to all,
Yep, will be in Sziget, too ! But only on 16th and 17th.
I'll go on my own, so will be great to meet at a certain point. The pub at 4pm would be a great idea, with a tree leaf on one hand to identify ourselves (or is is too weird?)
See you all,
Pablo

Allow me to make the following suggestion: meetin point dakmat bar as already suggested. Side nearest to camping site.
As seen last year, it's impossible to have just one meeting per day, many are going around and may miss.
3 rendez vous per day are more likely.
11-16-21?
Last year we wwre meeting at 11-12 for our daily waterpipe and tea meeting (after yoga!!)
And at 21 just befor main stage concert.
Anyway, mobile texting nakes everything easier!! No need to plan everything so nuch in advance: freeom festival!!
;-)

Great idea! I'll be there from wednesday till saturday with some friends and will try to meet you guys at the dalmat pub at 16.00 (maybe already at 11). I think the non-campers are not allowed on the terrain before wednesday, so we miss Iron Maiden. Not that I am a fan, but I think it's weird.
See you next week!

I agree with Massimo: there will be a lot of movement there - quite obvious :-) - so 3 meetings time is a great idea and 11:00 - 16:00 - 21:00 it's a good choise.

For other meeting times, mobile text message will work very vell :-)

As founder of this group just could not resist to meet you guys up on Saturday.. so will be at the meeting point as 4pm on the 16th of August.

As it may be raining and I do not have my orange life-vest any more I will put up a red baseball cap..

See many of you .. cheers Andras

Ciao Tiziano! Would be nice meet you again here! Don t know if it has already be said but the meeting point now is usually at the serbian cusine kiosk on a side of the main stage where there are all the other cusine kiosks (at the corner with the transversal street). It is quite easy to be found.

this explains why we couldn't find anyone at the dalmat pub.. :) (although managed to scare quite a few people off and make them wonder for the rest of the evening what the hell CS is ... ).

will be at the serbian food stand today at 16, look out for two freezing Israelis...
