Hi!

I'm a Swedish girl, 22 years old and I'm planning to take a gap year in my studies and stay in Melbourne over the summer to work ans save some money for traveling.
I'd like to live in a houseshare or flatshare, and the rent should preferably be around $150 a week and it should be somewhere quite close to the CBD, in any suburb, and the room shuld be furnitured.

You can expect me to be a clean and nice housmate who likes to socialize in the house and hang out, but also respects privacy. I have no problems with animals, especially cats! I am very open minded and I don't care if you're straight or gay or what ever. I just like to meet new and interesting people!

Don't hesitate to contact me if you have a room for rent!
Cheers,
Sandra

Hi Sandra...my name is Bianca and I have recently moved to Melbourne from Brisbane with my friend Sarah. We currently live in west footscray which we are looking to move away from in the new year. We are contracted to stay until mid/end of January but after that we will be looking at moving. We would love to live in st Kilda for the summer but anywhere closer to the city would suit. I dont know if it would suit you but perhaps we could look at creating a share house if you're interested?

Bianca

Hi Leah! Sounds like we all could be a fun group!

So if we would like to find a share house or apartment, how will we look for it? We need a whole house to rent so maybe we have to turn to a real estate company?

Hi Bianca!

I'm up for looking after something together! But I will need somewhere to stay from the 7th and on, so I hope I will find something earlier. But I can probably have a short term stay somewhere until I or we find something!

I wouldn't mind living in St Kilda but I would really like to live around Richmond/South Yarra or more north of the city. But yeah as long as it's a good place to stay it doesn't matter too much.

Hello Fred, and anyone else this might suit :
I'm currently looking to temporarily fill two rooms in Brunswick East - it's a really great house and close to the tram stop, and also nice cafes on Lygon St.

We're a four bedroom house. A budgie =) and a big vegie garden.
We're just looking for two friendly people basically!
Two guys 24 and 25 years old will be in the house.
The rooms are 165ish per week for a big room - double bed, nice big desk. And cheaper (I'll have to check but I think it's around 130 or 140) for a smaller room - it's still relatively spacey though!
The rooms are available from around the 21st of December (ish). Both rooms are available until mid - late feb. And potential for one to stay longer! Sorry if that's a bit confusing =)

Send me a personal message if you're interested - we're hoping to start meeting potentials next week.
