Looking for a cheap room with amazing housemates!

Ahoy people of Melbourne!

I've been in the city for 5 days now and sorted myself three jobs (conservation charity, barista and being Santa over Christmas) so decided to stay in the city until I make enough money to buy a car as it seems impossible to get farm work without one!

I'm looking for somewhere within 10-15k of the CBD, cheap as possible and with some fun and interesting people! Not too much to ask? It is?! Well, I'm asking anyways ^__^

A bit about me, I've been to all seven continents, I had cancer when I was 19 and was told I was going to die, sort of inspired me to see the world and be a generally all right guy, I've lived with over 40 people in the last six years and never had a complaint about my housemate skills. In fact, I'm quite a good housemate! I'm tidy, quiet (when necessary), I bake cakes and quite enjoy using the vacuum cleaner with my music on! I'm in my final year of a part time Open University Politics, Philosophy and Economics degree so it would be great to find somewhere with a desk in the house, but I can live without.

I'm trying to save money to buy a car to go find my regional farm work, so please don't message me with a room share for $200 a week, I could just stay in a hostel. I don't mind a room share if it's REALLY cheap, otherwise I'd like my own space, even if it's tiny!

As for you, the reader, the potential future best friend, I'd just hope that you're friendly, open minded and would like to hang out every now and again but not live in each others pockets.

Give me a shout ^__^
