an Italian girl in Victoria
Posted December 7th, 2011 - 9:22 pm by from Terrigal, Australia (Permalink)
Hey everyone!
I'm an Italian girl coming to Australia soon.
I'll be in Melbourne around 7th January and I'm thinking of going to Wilsons Promontory for 2 days. I can't really decide whether to go there or go to the Gippsland lakes or somewhere else. As I have never been to Australia before, it's hard to pick a destination, I wish I could see everything! Could you suggest me what to see nearby Melbourne? Maybe you're planning a road trip or something as well, I'd love to join you! If you'd like to meet a great (and modest) chef and cook something together, if you have 1 day off and would like to show me your favourite/secret spot in Victoria, check my profile and feel free to email me!

Hi Vanessa!

There is lots to do in Melbourne!

Maybe this will help you a bit (a post I wrote on my blog a long long time ago):

Most of the things described still exist and are still beautiful :) And I would definitely say you should go to Wilsons Prom, I've been there and it is great if you love hiking and camping... though it might be booked out in early January as it coincides with school holidays...

I hope this helps a bit!

Cheers!
