heya

ive just arrived to Melbourne (Bundoora) and I will ba here a few months, studying. I have free weekends, so I would like sightseeing a bit because I will not have chance to come Australia soon. Does anyone have any advices where to go? maybe there is someone who wants to join me? or someone who has time to show me around? I dont have car, but i heard renting is a good idea or if someone has it would be amazing or public transportation is also fine. basically I am open for any ideas ;)

hope to see you guys soon ;)

hey lucja i live in the east of melbourne in a town called belgrave which is part of the dandenong ranges. alot of tourists often come to see all the sights around the dandenongs as its a huge forest in the mountains. you can go hiking in grants picnic ground, take a ride on puffing billy which is a 100 year old train that goes through the forest about 30km's to gembrook and theres a place called sky high with really cool views and it has a restaurant and a few other things i cant remember. if you would like to go around there i would be glad to take you around there or even a group of us could go (but i can only fit 4 in my car unless someone else has a car too) its easy to get to belgrave all you do is get the train to any of the city stations (flinders st, southern cross, melbourne central, parlaiment) and take the belgrave train. when you get to the station i could pick you up from there. im free saturday afternoons and some sunday mornings. and i havnt been to grants picnic ground before so if you want to do that just send me a message. cheers!!
