Hi all!

Finaly I've been able to register on the wiki and make the changes that I was supposed to do 2 month ago!

If you have time please have a look and tell me what you think of it!

The changes have been done on these parts:
3_ What is the difference between a rural and urban couchsurfing experience?
4_ Expectation of Host
5_ Expectation of Surfer
13_ Rural couchsurfing – guidelines for hosts
14_ Rural couchsurfing – guidelines for guests

*Update* and Moving Forward

*Update on Rural Couchsurfing*

After a lot of non-communication, miscommunication and
finally effective communication with the Leadership
Team it seems as if they are not interested in
pursuing Rural Couchsurfing. Rather, they want to
change the search to look outside city centers in a
radius of between 5 and 20 km. This may help identify
people living outside the center but does nothing to
distinguish between people living in suburbs and
people living in a rural setting.

Baptou and myself are not interested in working with
the Leadership Team on this initiative and would
instead like to do something like the family welcome

We will now outline the path we would like to take

First, launch few beta version of rural CS groups for
country (like Rural CS France or Rural CS Australia
already existing).

Then invite people living in rural areas to joins
thoses groups.
--> Here is where we participation from everyone! We need to post messages on country, regional and local groups to raise awareness about it, as well as contact individual Rural hosts to tell them about it (most of them might not belong to any group). So we have to to use the couchsearch and look for rural hosts, sort them from non rural hosts
and contact them!

This is the hard part of the job but it's worth it! At
the end we can include Rural hosts on a map like the
family welcome map
This would make the search for a rural host pretty
