Boston Portuguese Festival and Parade

The Boston Portuguese Festival takes place annually ("" ), and aims at celebrating Portuguese culture and heritage, and sharing them with the population of Greater Boston, including its large national and international student community. The festival includes events that represent Portuguese and Portuguese-speaking cultures, from literature and music to cinema, history, science and technology, heritage and recreational activities.

The parade will start in Concord SQ., Somerville, and include a variety of colourful floats, bands and stands selling Portuguese delicacies and other regional products.

With performances by Nelia, the famous Portuguese-American singer, and Enio and his band Euro at the end of the Parade in Saint Anthony’s Churchyard.
