Chinese New Year Parade in Chinatown

Organized by Eevers
Let's celebrate the Year of the Horse at the annual Chinese New Year's Parade in Chinatown. The parade begins at 11:00am and runs for about 2.5 hours.

I though we could meet in front of Dr Sun Yat Sen Gardens (plaza area) between 10:30am - 11:00am and shortly after head to a viewing area near Columbia & Pender. Although the parade start time is 1100am I am not too concerned as these things often start late. We will do our best to find a good spot. This is a very colourful parade and it's cool to see all the celebrations and get some cool photos.

I will be there from 1030am on. For those who don't know me, I will be wearing a red coat and have a black and white cap on.

Perhaps we can go for a bite to eat afterwards. We can figure it out then OR if someone wants to, they can plan a place to go for our group.

Hope to see you out! The weather forecast calls for clouds with 4C so dress warm and maybe an umbrella just to be safe.
