What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the practice of cultivating awareness in our daily life, so that we can deepen our enjoyment of each moment and learn how to take care of ourselves and others better. We can bring our body and mind into harmony in any activity, whether we are walking, driving the car, washing the dishes or taking a shower.

Our meditation group practices a style of meditation based on the teachings of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, which emphasise joy and practice in daily life. During our weekly meetings, we practice various types of meditation together (breathing, walking, sitting, eating) and share our experiences in order to learn from and support each other. Everyone is warmly invited, no prior experience necessary!
