Enjoy Mindfulness Meditation in Magdeburg

Dear friends, you are invited to enjoy some mindfulness meditation in Stadtpark Rotehorn. No prior experience necessary, just come along if you are interested! We will practice a variety of types of meditation (breathing, walking, sitting, eating) in the peaceful environment of the park. Pass this event on to anyone you know who might be interested :)

Wenn es nötig ist, versuche ich Deutsch zu sprechen, um die Praxis zu erklären. Leider spreche ich nicht so gut, also wenn jemand übersetzen könnte, wäre es super.

Date/Time: Every Thurs, 6-7.45pm
Where: Across the Sternbrücke on the Stadtpark side. We will stand by the information signs, don't be afraid to approach!
What to Bring: Clothes for the weather, a mat to sit on, water or tea flask if you like

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the energy of being aware and awake to the present moment. It is the continuous practice of touching life deeply in every moment of daily life. To be mindful is to be truly alive, present and at one with those around you and with what you are doing. We bring our body and mind into harmony whether we are walking, driving the car, washing the dishes or taking a shower.

Hi everyone,

Ready for some more meditation? Fingers crossed for this Thursday- weather report says 15 C with a 20% chance of rain. Aleksey pointed out that the Firmenstaffel run is happening tomorrow in the Stadtpark at 18 Uhr. We will meet at the same place as usual (information sign in the park, just after you cross over the Sternbruecke), but we can decide on where to go depending on how busy/chaotic it is looking

This Thursday we will try practising TEA MEDITATION (or failing that, drinking meditation) - so if you have a thermos flask, fill it up and bring it along.

Again if anyone wants to take photos, you are warmly invited to!

What to Bring:
* Warm clothes (coat, scarf, gloves, artic thermals...)
* Something to sit on (plastic sheet/cushion)
* Thermos or bottle with something to drink, a small cup to drink from if you have one
* Camera if you feel like taking photos

See you all at 6pm - by the information sign as you cross over the Sternbruecke into the Stadtpark.
