Exploring Vancouver

Organized by Barbara S.

I will be staying in the downtown area of Vancouver and these are the things I would like to do (I would love to go to Victoria if I can squeeze that in. I can help pay for gas if someone wants to take a trip there):

Sunday Night, March 31st. I would like to go to Yaletown for some cocktails/dinner.

Monday April 1st, pretty much all day hiking. Suspension Bridge 44min bus ride from downtown, Admission $30

Not sure yet what to do on Monday night. Where is a good place for dinner? Maybe I can squeeze viewing the sunset from False Creek water side patio.

Tuesday April 2nd. Possibly Victoria, or Lighthouse park or Stanley Park and possibly a brewery tour?

Any other suggestions? If you would like to join me on any of these activities, please message me! Thanks!

I haven't been to the capilano bridge since they added the canopy walk, but I know a lot of CSers that felt $30 was a rip off, especially when the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge is nearby and free. Also, UBC has a canopy walk which you can visit and also go to the botanical gardens AND classical Japanese gardens for $24. Just something you could consider.

I might be up for getting a drink later tonight, if it's still happening? I don't finish work til after 8 though.
