To the west, there are views of Stanley Peninsula and the South China Sea. At the foot of the Dragon’s Back is the popular village Shek O with its sandy beaches


Chosen as the Best Urban Hike in Asia by Time Magazine in 2004, Dragon’s Back is the most popular hike for tourists and expats due to its easy accessibility (20 minutes from the city’s downtown heart) and stunning vistas. Most visitors finish this exhilarating route with a swim at Shek O beach and a meal at an alfresco restaurant nearby.

The Dragon’s Back, located at Stage 8 of the Hong Kong Trail on the South Eastern coast of the Hong Kong Island, starts from To Tei Wan and ends at Big Wave Bay.

Walk up to Shek O Peak from the foot path beside To Tei Wan pavilion on Shek O Road. You will then reach the rugged
Follow the sign for the Hong Kong Trail along the walk to reach Big Wave Bay.

Highlights:

Paragliders hanging in the air and eventually drifting down to a beach at Shek O.
People flying radio-controlled gliders

1.Take MTR and drop at exit A3 of "Shau Kei Wan MTR Station"
2. Take Citybus "No 9" and drop at "To Tei Wan bus stop" on Shek O Road
3.Go To Tei Wan > Dragon’s Back > Big Wave Bay > Shek O (Stage 8 of the Hong Kong Trail )
4.Enjoy the sunshine at the shek o beach
5. Dinner at an restaurant nearby
6. Night Market or Drinks if u guys want

Good Shoes, Swimming Suits, Suncream, Towel, Aater(a lot), Aamera, Anti Mosquitos, Snacks..
