SPIRIT of Burgas is the biggest and the most varied music event in Bulgaria, which gather every year hundreds of artists worldwide.
The first edition of SPIRIT of Burgas is in 2008. Thereafter the Municipality of Burgas is a co-organizer and fest is under the patronage of the mayor, Mr. Dimiter Nikolov.
Through the years SPIRIT of Burgas brought in Bulgaria: Korn, Busta Rhymes, Gentleman, Dubfire, Tinie Tempah, Armin Van Buuren, Chase & Status Live, Dynamite, Richie Hawtin, SUM 41, Mark Knight, Moby, Faith No More, The Prodigy, Skunk Anansie, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Leftfield, DJ Shadow, Unkle Live, Suicidal Tendencies, Deftones, Asian Dub Foundation, Onyx, Gorillaz Sound System, Skindred, Gotan Project, Clawfinger, The Sisters of Mercy, Kosheen, Bonobo, Alien Industry, The Revenge Project, De Phazz, Dreadzone, Apollo 440, Grandmaster Flash, Andy C and MC GQ, Shy FX, Mark Foggo, Amplifier and many more.

2008 - finalist among the 15 best festivals for the Best European Festival award given by Yourope Festival Awards
2009 - among TOP 10 for Best Overseas Festival given by UK Festival Awards
2009 - quoted by The Times as one of 20 best festival destinations worldwide
2009 - the festival’s program is distributed in the European MTV network in 16 countries
2010 - nomination for the final phase of the TOP 10 Medium Sized Festivals given by the first European Festival Awards
2010 - among TOP 10 for Best Overseas Festival given by the UK Festival Awards
2011 - SPIRIT of Burgas is the first and still the only one Bulgarian music festival part of the European Program CEETEP (Central Eastern European Talent Exchange Program)
2012 - SPIRIT of Burgas is the first and still the only one Bulgarian music festival part of the European Program ETEP (European Talent Exchange Program)
