I'd like to try leading a silent afternoon walk combined with breaks for sitting meditation practice. I'm thinking of doing about 40 mins of hiking, 40 mins of meditation, repeated once or twice. Some experience of mindfulness/insight meditation would be helpful but not necessary as I can give some instructions. Doing this outside and in a group we're likely to be exposed to different kinds of experiences than we are when meditating inside and alone. If at least about three people are interested, let's meet at the Oak Grove metro station at 12 p.m. on Sat May 4. Hope to see you there!
