• How will you remember 12.12.12? You definitely won't forget coming down to Brandenburg Gate in the beautiful and freezing snow to help hold a 16 foot banner (for a photo which will comprise part of a visual petition to show governments and the companies involved in the forest destruction that the world wants to see these (Tasmanian old growth forests here) globally significant forests protected for the future).

I will make the banner you just have to come and hold it for 5 minutes so we can show that we the people and passers through of Berlin stand behind this amazing woman.

The banner will read "Berlin stands with MIRANDA. World heritage forest protection now!"

The ObserverTree is a platform situated 60m above the ground in an old-growth Eucalyptus tree, in the heart of Tasmania’s southern forests. On the 14th of December 2011 conservationist Miranda Gibson climbed a rope to the top of the tree and vowed to stay untill the forest is protected. Miranda’s upper canopy home is a tree under imminent threat, in a forest due to be logged any day now.

    Please read more here;http://observertree.org/

If you want to stand behind Miranda and if you love big trees like me come and take part.

    Thanks for reading
