• hey guys and gals!
my boyfriend and i were looking into visiting Boston the first week of April (im a teacher and thats my spring break). something we were wondering is whether or not it would be a good idea to drive or fly. would it be convenient to have a car in the city or more of a hassle parking wise? just looking for some advice. THANKS! :-)

Parking isn't a hassle during the day, but at night its very rare to find a meter and the only other parking is in the garages for usually 20$ or more. It's also a bit of a hassle driving around in the city. There are a lot of one ways that make it difficult to navigate across town if you aren't familiar with the area. As long as your staying in the city it's pretty easy to get around by train. A charlie ticket costs 5$ for a two way trip, and that's a flat rate for any destination and the tickets never expire. There's lots of great bars, restaurants, attractions, and other train stations within a quick walking distance of every train terminal around the city. Hope that helped!

Thanks! that helped a bunch! we like to get out and explore the city and what better way to do that then taking the local transit!
