• Hi everyone, I'm a student from the deepest depths of a fjord midst in Norway. I'm moving to Boston to write on my master thesis, are there any helpful and friendly people in Boston who can help me find a place to live?

I'm writing about political motivation among Tea Partiers. Do anyone know anybody active or sympathetic to this movement?

    Best regards

Welcome to Boston! You're not going to find too many people sympathetic to the modern Tea Party around this city. There's a nice museum dedicated to the original Tea Party downtown though.

You'll have better luck outside the city in Western Mass, but really, you should visit Virginia, Florida and Texas to meet those really enthusiastic about the movement.

In Boston, specifically, I would recommend that you talk to Scott Brown's office. Brown isn't a Tea Party republican like Rubio (R-FL) or Scott Walker (R-WI), but he's the closest thing Boston has.

You may also want to read the blog http://legalinsurrection.com/, which is written by a Law Professor at Cornell (about 6 hours from Boston) who lives in Rhode Island (1-2 hours south of Boston). He is an active reporter of Tea Party sentiments.

Awesome to see a fellow Norwegian in Boston.

    Can always try www.craigslist.com
Just make sure it's the "Boston" section.

Tell me when you are in town. Will meet and have a drink together.
