• Hi,

I'm looking to buy a health insurance to travel in europe, any advices?
The one that offers my bank is a credit card that costs $125 yearly. I found this one online http://www.kanetix.ca but it's 500$ a year.

    Thanks,
    Beatriz

try cooperators... if your M.E.C. member you get a 15% discount... cost me 200-225$ for 6 months.

I would myself go with Blue Cross all the way. They've proven trustworthy throughout the years for me, amongst Many other people! and quite affordable too... You can subscribe online.

I had to claim back from them during a trip to asia, they were fair about everything.

    Safe travels; wear condoms! :-)

Personally, I always go for a package that includes medical, health, and baggage insurance. Over the years and 49 countries visited, I found that the RBC packages are probably the best value.

Croix Bleue is at the lower end of the spectrum. Cheaper, yes, but they don't cover everything. Having been rushed to the hospital in Thailand, and having had to go through anti-rabic treatments in Romania and Bulgaria, and having had stuff stolentor broken during trips, I can attest to the importance of having the "right" insurance coverage. As with everything, going for the cheapest option is rarely the best idea. . .
