• Of course there is! And I want to utilize it. I'm a mediocre skiier that's just arrived from New York. Last year was such a mild winter, I didn't see snow once. Tragic!
Its therefore only appropriate that I ski while here. Especially since its my first time in Montreal.
Anyone interested in joining? I was thinking of catching a bus from downtown and heading to Mont Blanc tomorrow (Friday).

    Let me know

Better check the road conditions. As things stand, autoroute 15 going North is considered "critical" and Transport Québec recommends that it not be used for the time being.

Heading out toward both the Laurentians and the Eastern Townships is not recommended. Not sure just how good conditions will be on Friday morning. I figure all should be well, or at least things will be looking up, in the afternoon...

Keep an eye on the Transport Québec website or watch the news...

The road conditions on Friday morning will be good, don't worry. Go slow, safe and alert.

    Have a good ski trip!

Hey guys! Thanks for the comments. Its been a while since I used couchsurfing and in the past I feel like it used to tell you when people responded to a post. I didn't see this until now. My apologies Mehdi!

I ended up going to Saint Sauver. It was as I expected.. Amazing! So much natural powder and barely any people to get in the way of it.

Thanks for the advice guys. Montreal was awesome. Wish I had more time to explore it. Definitely will be back.

    Cheers!
    Rebecca
