• Hello there! I'm going to Thailand with a friend soon (we're both from Argentina) and I have a stopover in HKG. My plane should arrive there 14.30 / Sun 24th and leaves at 21.15. That leaves about 3 hours to get to know the city, I've read that transfers takes about 30 minutes to get to the city. I would like to know what do you think is the best way to get from the airport to the city and costs. Also things I can't miss in my short stat

    ¡Hola Rodrigo!

That should be a good amount of time to enjoy the Victoria Harbour. Why not catch the A21 (to Hung Hom) which goes via Tsim Sha Tsui, The bus is $23 single. You can get off at Cameron Road and walk south along Nathan Road towards the harbour, then walk along the harbourside west to the Star Ferry Pier (where you could find somewhere to eat), then east again via the promenade to end up at New World Centre stop to catch A21 back to the Airport again.

You can get a sense of the route by using the map of Citybus, who runs the bus. Type A21 on the box to get the route up: http://www.nwstbus.com.hk/routesearch.aspx?t=1360862299059&intLangID=2

The route, if you walk at a leisurely pace without stopping, will take 50 minutes. It will be easy to more than double that to stop and shop, take photos or see things. By the harbour you can look over to Hong Kong Island over the harbour (which is very pretty, the other good view is from the Peak, but you won't have enough time).

This is one option anyway, but I think it's a good one. Let me know if you need anything else!
