• Hello again fellow csers!

I was talking to some of you during the Annual Frankfurt CS Brunch last Sunday (which was great by the way, thanks again Stefano) and found out that you are already eager to organise a weekly meeting in December! :)

    So, go for it!!!

    Wednesday, December 5th [organiser needed]
    Thursday, December 13th [organiser needed]
    Wednesday, December 19th [organiser needed]
    Thursday, December 27th [organiser needed]

Here are the few steps (I added an optional sub-step as well - 3b) needed to organize it (thanks Franz, Daniela, Diego):

For the CS members who are tempted to organize a weekly meeting and have no experience in organizing it yet:

    1. Look for a location. Ask the crew, whether it's available on the date. We need a place for about 30-40 people, but take care, the no. isn't stable (see 6.).

    2. Create an event in CS (Community - Create Event). The event should be well described (with link to a map), because we want joining travelers and newbies too.

    3. The weekend before the date: Post in the Frankfurt Group the date (link to the event) to promote your event.

3b.(optional) You can also post in the facebook cs group (check here) to attract more people.

    4. Follow the no. of registered attendees. You need the trend. If you haven't enough attendees it would be nice if motivate more by repeating to post in the Frankfurt group.

    5. A day before the event you phone the location and tell them the no of registered people. Sometimes they forget the event.

    6. People register till going to the event. That's why you can only assess the no. of attendees in the late afternoon before (= about no. of registered people + 20%). And then update the crew around 6 o'clock of the event evening. And hope your assessment is right.

    7. You might want to reserve two tables. One for 15 people at 20:00 and another for 15 people at 21:30. (Only a few people arrive in time and the restaurant / pub might give away reserved tables to others if no one shows up by that time.)

The organizer is only responsible for the reservation and motivation, not for the bill (Point that out to the pub crew as well).

Ok, so Guenes is going to organise the meeting on the 13th, same place like yesterday, I guess around same hour and most probably the same band will play again for us (people who were there early enough, said that they were great). This time a bit later so more will have the chance to listen to the band (I hope I'll be one of them as well)!!!

Check again in like 10 days more or less, when Guenes will create the post and the event! :D

    One meeting left for 2012!!!

If you think the 27th is not a good date for a weekly meeting, then just pick 1 or 2 days before or after! ;)
