• I'm looking for the most effective way to get from Paris Nord to Montparnasse. I have trains to catch that are only about an hour difference between. Is it possible? What would one have to do?

You have the time to make your transit : take line 4 from Paris Nord to Montparnasse (direction porte d'orléans, it's a direct line). It's about 30 minutes.

    Have a nice trip

    Hi Paul,

You just need to take the subway, 4th line (the pink one, direction Porte d'Orléans), from Gare du Nord to Montparnasse.
It's not so long and very possible : about 25 minutes for someone who knows Paris. But you guys need to hurry because you have to find your way et buy tickets ...

Just walk fast and it'll be okay !
