• Hello,
does anyone have any tips for Reykjavik. I will be there this week till Sunday - have only one full day which is Saturday and am free Friday evening and Sunday morning.

Restaurant tips, hot pool suggestions are welcome. I was told to go to Blue Lagoon - will probably do so on Saturday.
Golden Circle tours - are they worth it since I have limited time? I would like to see the town also.

any sunday morning activities? have a flight at 2.

Would be nice to meet members also, if any. Please let me know.
    Thanks in advance.

Will you have a car? If so, take a few hours to drive around Reykjanes and end with a swim in the Blue Lagoon. I think it would be pushing it to try to fit the Golden Circle and the lagoon into the same day, but you might be able to do it.

You can have brunch on Sunday at Cafe Loki (if you want more traditional food options) or Babalu (better company) and hit one of the city pools for a soak.

Thanks. you think I can go to blue lagoon sunday morning 9am bus, spend 2 hours and take the bus to airport for a flight at 14:15? or is it too tight?

is golden circle worth the time - as it takes all day (of my single full day here)

I haven't done the blue lagoon on the way to the airport myself, so I am not sure about the timing, but that sounds possible - just check the flybus schedule and make sure it lines up, and then don't miss the bun :)

I think the golden circle is pretty great, especially this time of year when it's less crowded. As to whether it's worth the full day when you only have one, I don't think I can answer that. If I was in your position, I'd probably do it.
