• Hey!

I belong to a community of independent nomad workers that change their work location to boost their creativity and network (see http://coworfing.com). I'm landing in San Francisco tonight for two months and I'm looking for the best spots. I like to have a preferred spot in every neighbourhood in the cities i hang, so that I minimize transportation... For the moment I know nothing about the city and its places.

Where do you like to work? What's your best spot? Any bored home workers that want to join or host? Cafés, libraries, parks with wi-fi, professional coworking spaces, every tip is welcome!

    Cheers!

I am down. I work at home in Hayes Valley. There is a great coffee shop called Cafe International that is my favorite.

Cafe sappore on Taylor and Lombard. As well as 901 Columbus cafe. Nice little neighborhood cafe. I draw there most of the day.

Cafe Trieste on grant/vallejo(North Beach) where Francis Ford Coppola wrote his first script of GODFATHER I. His picture is in the shop. Great/strong cafe for those who are into the cafe. Free wifi very touristic on the week-end :) so avoid the week-end.
    Cheers

I love this! I'm actually looking to return from Sacramento to SF but I need work before I can make it happen. Do you know of any cool cafes? I have plenty of experience. :) thanks!

I love Sight Glass coffee in soma. They have an awesome upstairs with big tables for a collaborative work environment. It's located at 270 Seventh Street. Their website is http://sightglasscoffee.com/contact

Ritual Coffee on Valencia St. is really great. http://www.ritualroasters.com/

I also love Sight Glass on 7th and Folsom, but it's more for people who do paper-and-pen sort of work as there are no outlets and no wifi. A real shame, because it's such an incredibly beautiful spot, all glass and wood.
