• I just got this e-mail from an agency in Tokyo. I'm up in Niseko right now, but I thought I'd pass this along and see if any brown haired male CSers want to try for this litle one day acting job. You probably need a bank account and a gaijin card and if you're interested, just write or call Hikaru at group echo 03-6804-7677. She speaks English.

    Dear Emily

    Hi. How are you?

We have a favor to ask you!

We’re looking for a Caucasian man who is late 10s or early 20s for a TV drama, .

It would be nice if he has blond hair, but light brown is fine as well.

If you know anyone, could you please forward the following email to them?

    Thank you very much!!

*TV drama (We’ll know a title soon.)

    *Date: Mon March 11,

*Time: We don’t know yet. We’re looking for a person who is available all day, morning to night. It might not take all day though.

*Place: (Probably) TOEI studio where is located in Oizumi-Gakuen area (about 10 min from Ikebukuro to west.)

    *Situation:

A Japanese main character writes a novel.

In the novel there’re 2 foreigners who are a woman and a man.

When she writes the novel, in her imagination, 2 foreigners live as human being, though they’re the characters in the play.

For this shooting, the production film those 2 foreigners in her imagination.

    *Role: We don’t know yet.

*What kind of scenes: We don’t know yet.

*Costume: Probably might wear a costume which the production prepares.

*Beard: If you are selected, we think you’re asked to shave beard, goatee etc.

*Payment: Payment will be decided after the shooting, depends on how long it takes, how hard it was etc.

Rough idea is about 10,000 – 15,000 yen.

*Payday: At the beginning of June.

Hi Daniel, I think you'll arrive too late, and pretty much because you get paid through a Japanese bank account and not until June, it's not the best job for travelers. But Sampo, if you're still interested, I'd send a picture of yourself and a little introduction as well as where you're living to the agency. It's no way to get rich, but it's sometimes fun if you get choosen. Hikaru's e-mail is グループエコー 東京オフィス grpecho-tokyo@celery.ocn.ne.jp Good luck.
