• こんにちはみんなさん、
I will be in Tokyo on April 18 for a few days. I'm looking for suggestion and where to try out to eat, and more importantly to photograph. If anyone also has a couch, it would be also enormously appreciated.

    Hi!
Unfortunately, the cherry blossom will wither in the middle of April...
But there are some good spot to take photoes in Tokyo!
For example, Asakusa, Sinjyuku Gyoenn(park), and something.
If you have enough time, i reccomend Mt.Fuji or Kyoto. They are more like Japanese place than Tokyo! Tokyo is too modern and big city.haha

Next, I recommend you a good restaurant. It is called " Tsurutontan"
    Check this cite (http://www.japanrestaurant.net/restaurant_info.php?id=116)
It is in Roppongi and Shinjyuku. There are a lot of night clubs and foreigners in Roppongi.

At last, i can not host you...But if i have a time, i can show you around the city and places to eat.
I do not have schedule book now, because i am traqvelling around south america during spring vacation!

Anyway I hope you can have a great time in Tokyo!!!

    take care,

    Bye

Thank you both of you for your suggestions.

    Dear Yasuhiro,
My current itinerary in Japan is Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, therefore I am certain there will be many sceneries i can capture. I have a quick question on culture and what is consider permitted and not permitted: I would like to do some environmental portrait / street photography there. Generally, i give a smile and acknowledge their presence after taking a shot. Is this something that is frowned upon or viewed badly?
