• Hey all, the new BC Family Day is on this Monday 11th, and there's a bunch of events that celebrate and promote Family Day, e.g. local mountain ski resorts, half price admission to BC Sports Hall of Fame, Family Day activities at the Art Gallery

With Grouse Mountain, they're having a pancake breakfast, sleigh rides, scavenger hunts, snow painting, and offering 50% off lift tickets (for BC residents) and general admission. I was wanting to go, but then I read the fine print and it mentions that one has to show proof of BC residence via government-issued photo ID. I don't have such ID, so I guess I'm SOL.

Instead, I might go to the Vancouver Aquarium - it has extended hours all weekend, and I have a membership card with which I can bring 2 others with me for a reduced price.

Ice skating at Robson Square is also tempting, as its free.

If anyone's interested in joining me to enjoy the Monday statutory holiday in Vancouver, let me know :)

I might be down. I've been out of the CS scene for awhile now and I just moved to Vancouver not too long ago so I'm trying to break back in lol
The aquarium sounds cool. What time are you thinking of going?
