ABOUT ME

I grew up in Cairo, Egypt. Lived in Indonesia and the US for about a year each on culture and language related scholarships (it's a good way to travel without paying much ;). I did different jobs in different fields and I'm resisting the influence of people who are trying to make me feel bad about not having a stable "career".So far I have been pursuing what I feel passionate about in an attempt to realize for myself what I really like.

Certainly this is not all, more when we meet. Looking forward to it :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was first introduced to couch surfing when i was hosted by a friend of a friend :) on arrival to Jogjakarta. That made me realize how efficient and helpful it is, and would give me the chance to move easier and help other surfers too while getting to know each other and enjoy good times. I have got only one chance to host through couchsurfing so far (moving around a bit too much even when I'm not travelling) but I try to share as much of the experiences and info I acquired along the way, It helps other wanderers sometimes.

Amazing how it makes traveling and socializing around new places easy and fun, and you meet like-minded wonderful people

Interests

Horseriding, traveling, diversity, trying new things, different cultures, having fun

Music, Movies, and Books

It depends on the mood. Still always open for something new

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking through Jawa and /kalimantan timur, Indonesia. It was amazing how easy and enjoyable this experience was. Trying to communicate with the locals with my broken Indonesian language that improved during this trip much more. It was so much fun and good chance to get a have a better understanding of the country through its awesome people
