My name's Carl, I'm originally from Michigan, lived in Little Rock for 4 years, and now live in Austin. I absolutely love Couchsurfing and try to contribute in any way that I can. This site is the perfect example of how this society can function once we can dissolve our fear-based programming. We can all be so nice to each other.

A friend and I traveled around the country in 2013 making a documentary and were hosted everywhere we went. From being hosted so many times, I realized how much it helped and enhanced the enjoyability of our trip, so I'm very eager to help as many traveler-people as I can. Whether it's just for a ride somewhere, some food, or a stay if I'm able to provide it, I want to help :)

I work in video production and make documentary films for fun. I'm always looking for people with cool video/documentary ideas or people who are interesting in collaborating on projects!
