Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The very first time I used Couchsurfing.org I was hosted by an amazingly beautiful soul that I will always be in debt to. He painted such a great experience for me, that I really wanted to actively participate in the Couchsurfing community as well, so when I got home to Seattle, I hosted many couchsurfers. Since then, I have moved to the beautiful island of Hawaii and can no longer host unfortunately, but if you need a tour guide and I'm free, I'm your girl!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was truly heaven sent.

One of my best friends had just committed suicide, and I was a wreck. I was touring Baltimore, doing advance yoga demonstrations and tutorials- and I had to get away for a weekend. I hadn't been inside of the city yet, and I got on Couchsurfing.org and found an angel.

He was a beautiful gay business professional and was also Hindu- which meant he was a vegetarian. Like me. I was able to experience the city, and make a great friend. He doesn't really know, just how much he did for me that weekend. For this first, amazing experience- I would like to do the same for people if given the chance.

Interests

My interests consist of spinning fire, dancing, going to festivals (BURNING MAN) world travel, acrobatics, reading, writing poetry and practicing contortion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving, Scuba, Traveled the world thoroughly, hiked volcanoes, tamed ferrets, Been to Burning Man 11 years in a row, Got my yoga certification in Guatemala...the list goes on and on.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach people about circus skills that I have acquired. I used to teach people to eat fire on Friday's here. It was my fire eating Fridays.

I was a gymnastics coach for a kinder and an academy gym, and continue to do personal acro/tumbling lessons.

I just got my yoga certification in Guatemala the spring of 13, so perhaps we can have an early morning yoga session? Also! I just got a membership to Seattle's Bouldering Project (INDOOR ROCK CLIMBING) And am learning to boulder! Let me know if you'd like to join me sometime. It's awesome!
