About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Uniting humanity

ABOUT ME

Other people say they like me because I'm real. Find out for yourself :)

This is my view of me:
I'm a friendly, positive, curious and talkative guy who loves meeting people all around the world, getting to know their culture and the way they see life. I love my friends and I like going to parties or taking a long walk. I love life and everything what comes with it. I'm impulsive, often getting into crazy situations that turn out to be super awesome!

I LOVE music, as long as it's happy and positive (depending on the mood, stuff like system of a down or rage against the machine can be appreciated as well ;-). Wherever I go, I bring my music and play for whoever's there. Be prepared to party or chill out big time!

I love people, it's amazing how we are all different yet have so much in common.

I'm very interested in anything I don't know about yet and I feel I cannot judge more or less anything I haven't experienced yet for myself.

Personal freedom is the most important thing there is. I won't ever interfere in anyone's life and won't accept any interference in mine.

Hate is something I don't practice, it's a waste of thought cycles. Why spend time and a good mood on stuff that is not deserving of your attention?

Sometimes, I love to have a long discussion, as this is the key to getting to know why people think or act the way they do and to learn from that.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we can achieve so much more if we work together instead of letting us be divided by fear and ignorance. My goal in life is to connect people, to make an end to division one person at a time by teaching the basic principles of happiness and self-sufficiency, (partly) inspired by Don Miguel Ruiz' The Four Agreements and my own experiences.

Quite a challenge, but I'm in no hurry and happy with all the progress I make :)

What I've learned in life so far:
- Positive thinking gets you in positive places
- Have no regrets, rather call it experience
- Embrace your inner child
- Never take anything personally
- Don't let others decide what's best for you
- Excluding people prevents any dialogue
- Having conflicting views on life doesn't mean you can't work together

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn a lot, especially about consuming less (2015: check!) and being able to live with less (2015: check!). I also love to learn more about the spiritual things in life, I'm very interested in things like Buddhism, meditation, reiki, and esoterical knowledge, I know almost nothing about it and I prefer to learn from people instead of books (2015: getting there). I'd like to be more disciplined as well. My biggest fear is (was!) tasting food (or ingredients) I don't know, travelling a lot will hopefully take away this (irrational) fear. (This actually seemed to have worked more or less, I eat almost anything now, and because of it, way healthier as well!)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a lot to share, like staying calm, patience, how to love, how to trust and how to love life, if you're open for it. I can cook delicious meals! I also have computer skills that I'm willing to share and a bit of DJ-ing skills. I can repair bicycles ;-) It's hard to think of special things I can share, but I 'm sure there will be more than what I mentioned.
