About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Making tourist fell in love with my city

ABOUT ME

I am a psychology student living in Warsaw and totally in love with this city. This passion made me become a city guide and now I guide tours both for fun and for living.
Sometimes I am described as the most open-minded person someone has met so I guess there must be something in that ;) I just like people and I find it incredibly fascinating to make new acquaintances. There is nothing more interesting than listening what other people think! I am not only excited by meeting new people but also about learning things, doing something for the first time, etc. So if you would ask me "Would you like to see/do/try/listen about sth/go somewhere my answer would probably be "Why not?" This is my genaral attitude - being optimistic about your life and new things in it and just saing "yes" to all new opportunities.

PHILOSOPHY

Being and optimist and feel positive about everything that happens in life

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I always have plans for a few journeys and it would be great if I could meet some new people and find a host while travelling. But I also like it very much when I can be a host for someone so feel invited :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Few years ago my school friend told my about the possibility of travelling and visiting people from the other places. I thought it's a great idea and made a profile on hospitalityclub (here it is http://secure.hospitalityclub.org/hc/travel.php?cid=olgabrzozowa ) Since then I was hosted for a few times when I was travelling with my friends. I also had an opportunity to be a host for some people and all these experiences were positive.
As couchsurfing is more popular than hospitalityclub, I decided to make a profile here. In some way I was using CS even before making this profile - I was travelling with my boyfriend and in my home I hosted people who were visiting him, so you can find me in some of his recent references http://www.couchsurfing.org/people/potrzask/

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking part in the wave of 65 thousands spectators on the recent Euro Cup finals; being carried from one side of the stage to the other one on the shoulders of the crowd on rock festival; standing on the head of the Ukrainian Cossack and watching amazing rainbow neon above

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show Warsaw to you and share my knowledge of the city history, I can also teach how to cook traditional Polish meals, how to bake cakes and decorate them etc.
What I'd like to learn from the others are foreign languages. If you'd stay at my place I'd ask you to teach me at least a few words in your language.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, United Kingdom
