COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Overall very positive! I've met wonderful people and visited amazing places that otherwise I'd have omitted. By no means CS is a genuine experience that gives an opportunity to be as close to local communities as possible and learn about the visited countries and their cultures from the first hand perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books... I wish I had an apartment with a huge library that will be filled up with all my books. Although, I try not to keep many things, there are some books and authors I want to have in my bookshelf to go back to any time I feel like.

Music... a great spectrum. Generally, good classics, old rock, jazz, indie rock, music with some touch.

Movies... the ones I don't forget the next day and feel like watching them again. Movies based on biographies, psychological, with good images and soundtracks. They don't need to have a lot of plot as art speaks in between the lines. I love some director, i.e. Wong Kar-wai, Wes Anderson, Woody Allen, Majid Majidi, Coen brothers, Herzog etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping in a cave in Morocco was an amazing experience. With the waves bumping into the rocks on the sides.
Staying in a Hippie 'camp' in Crimea and meeting all those caring people with great organisation skills and artistic souls.
Travelling along the coast in Ireland, eating on the grass and sleeping in a tent with a breathtaking view every morning.
Romanian motorbike trip.
Trekking in the mountains in every possible place is always an experience not to be forgotten.
The smell of Indian cuisine.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always eager to learn something new! Be it a few words to pick up, a new meal to prepare, some sport to practice or anything else.
And a conversation.
